AUTOMATIC
PUNCHING-RIVETING PROGE41
PROGE41 is fitted to work in punching of single or multi-layer sheet metal
and in the meanwhile automatically feeds the rivet and makes the riveting.
This innovative system allows, at the same time, to punch and rivet non
pre-pierced sheet metal of high thickness and of different materials.
The punching is afforded by an integrated punch and the scrap from the punching
is collected using a vacuum pump.
Thanks to its versatility the PROGE41 can be easily fitted and re-configured
according to the different applications and products to be riveted.
This kind of punching-riveting machine finds its best use when it is not
possible to rivet product using directly the rivet, cause of the thickness
or hardness of the sheet metal or to the very peculiar application required.
In these cases it will be possible to work with softer rivets than the ordinary
used.
The integrated automatic punching-riveting system grants to avoid pre-piercing
of the pieces to be joined and also the centring of the punched holes while
riveting.
The PROGE41 has also been developed to be completely automatic, the safety
systems and the controls can be interfaced with automatic piece loading
systems.
The use of high quality, standard parts and components readily available
on the market, make all routine maintenance and servicing operations extremely
quick, easy and low cost.
Appropriate protections and safety devices on the machine warrant the health
and safety of the operator in his working place. Acoustic comfort is given
by remarkably low working noise level, which is well below the minimum required
by safety standards.
